help, I am a size 42DD, I am a size 14 waist, and have just agreed to be bridesmaid at mates wedding, She want on off the shoulder dress, but I would need a strapless bra, and not sure if they do them in my size. Unless anyone else knows.

TIA

debenhams do a good range in their bigger stores - also Evans do a strapless bra. These both go up to an F cup HTH

i wanted a strapless bra and went to Rigby & Peller (was 32F at the time). They said you couldn't get one in that size (which i'm not sure is strictly true) but I did buy a gorgeous strapless corset thing which makes my boobs look amazing (and was about twice as expensive as a bra !). While it's not exactly what i would call comfortable, i have worn it all day/night at a wedding

Suggest Rigby & Peller if you are in London (John Lewis poss as well) or Bravissimo mailorder. Are you sure you have the right size? I ask because M & S told me I was a 42B and Rigby and Peller said no way, 36 or 38F.

I am a big fan of Bravissimo, but you do need to know your size first.

do you know what i cant imagine a strapless outfit would look nice on a huge busted woman(and I know)

sorry but its my opnion

are nt you going to overshadow the bride
" and heres my pal with the big norks" kind of thing>

I agree with Coddy actually. I tried, and they just sort of sat there and wobbled. A bit like two large bowls of porridge

Straps heave them up where they should be, give you more of a waist and give you the advantage of a massive cleavage without the porridge effect.

Codswallop · 21/04/2004 21:13

I think strapless is only for women with delicate litttle top halves and no excess felash

Codswallop · 21/04/2004 21:13

felash!!
flesh

tanzie · 21/04/2004 21:16

I like felash! Like you are felashing a bit of flesh!

Yes, and they try to climb out the top as well!

I always felt in imminent danger of swinging out if I bent forwards.

Nice woolly cardie on top, that's what you need, Bouncy

Or howabout one of those little bolero jacket things? They don't do much for me, personally, butmaybe better than the porridge effect.

littlemissbossy · 21/04/2004 21:43

Bouncy, don't know whether you would want mail order, but a neighbour of mine recommended www.amplebosom.com, they have a good return policy if needed. If not Bravissimo is gooood!! they also have website wwww.bravissimo.com

Thanks all.

friend has her heart set on identical dresses. I am more than happy to wear one. Also have some boob tubes for the summer, so will get plenty of wear from it. I am certain that if I get the right one I will be fine.
