I think he must have left. I just hope he's okay. His last post was worrying.

Mo2 · 20/04/2004 13:03

oh no - I hope we didn't frighten him away. there was a bit of light-hearted teasing going on I think. But didn't he go to one of the meet-ups?

Please come back jmg1.....

Kayleigh · 20/04/2004 13:09

he did go to a meet up - the aldershot one. he was thinking of coming to the city one tomorrow which was why he originally contacted me by email.

I'm pretty sure he didn't mind the teasing but i think he was having second thoughts about bringing his problems up on here as it was giving him sleepless nights thinking about everything again. Can't understand why he would delete everything though - or leave without saying something.

He did say something, agree it was a bit worrying. I hope he posts soon to let us know he's ok. Did anyone get his number at the meet-up just to check he's alright?

kiwisbird · 20/04/2004 13:30

what was the last thing he posted about?
I had email from him yesterday he has been feeling very low, hard being a man and not being in control, he is a lovely lovely man.
I will try and email him, but I think all the heart pouring he has done here has opened places inside him he wasn'r ready for.
i will send him a lovely email and explain that we respect his choice but that we are here for him should he ever need us

CountessDracula · 20/04/2004 13:32

Good idea Kiwi. And ask how his dd is, I think he thought she had chickenpox. And none of the others or him had had it so they may all have come down with it.

Tell him if he wants to come back (just for chatting, no heavy stuff) then I MIGHT even agree to cheer Chelsea on against Monaco (anyone who knows me will know that I would rather have my teeth removed with pliers than do that normally )

coppertop · 20/04/2004 13:40

Good idea, Kiwi. You can tell him that the chat-threads aren't the same without his smuttiness!

Kayleigh · 20/04/2004 15:02

Thanks Kiwi, although i did email him early this morning just to ask if he was ok as i was worried about him and haven't heard back yet.

Am hoping he is just busy looking after the kids and hasn't had time to look at email today.

I also wondered what had happened when I saw some of his posts deleted.

jmg if you are reading this, take your time but people got to like you very quickly on mumsnet and will still be here next time you feel like chatting. We won't forget you.

Hope you're okay jmg1. It's not the same without your input.

Kayleigh · 20/04/2004 18:49

I got an email back from him. He's feeling very low at the moment, not been sleeping well and now two of the kids have chicken pox. No doubt the third will have it soon and possibly him too as I think he said he hadn't had it.

He says he'll be back when he feels up to it.
Have told him he had his very own thread today as we were so worried about him and that we would be here for him whenever he decided to come back.

coppertop · 20/04/2004 18:51

Thanks for the update. Poor JMG and mini-JMG's.

CountessDracula · 20/04/2004 19:29

Awww poor loves

Hope he feels better soon and will be back

wobblyknicks · 21/04/2004 09:11

Thanks for posting that essbee - I was out all day yesterday and didn't get a single minute on MN (how am I still alive?? )

Hopefully he'll be back but maybe just needs some time to himself.

hercules · 22/04/2004 11:37

For you jmg1

WSM · 22/04/2004 11:39

I've been following your story jmg1 (albeit in a lurking sense) and just wanted to welcome you back to the warm bosom of mumsnet . Hope things are improving at home.

kiwisbird · 22/04/2004 11:45

my days of welcoming strange fellas back in the folds with bosoms are over, but very nice to see you back!

Twinkie · 22/04/2004 11:47

My bosom is warm and huge at the moment - hormones must be whizzing - so welcome back JMG!!

kiwisbird · 22/04/2004 11:50

mummysurfer · 22/04/2004 12:07

Good to see you back jmg1

Jaybee · 22/04/2004 14:07

Is he back then - or am I just confused??

lou33 · 22/04/2004 14:21

Yes Jaybee.

Jaybee · 22/04/2004 14:27

Aha - on another thread - no wonder I am confused....
