my 12 and 17 year old do same sort of thing i do we just all muck in. the 7 year old is given jobs. if i tell him to tidy his room he crys and gos into one. but if i give him one job at a time he seems to be ok.

my 4 year old does a bit of everything as well. she loads and works the washing machine and tumble dryer. picks up rubbish. puts toys away. sweeps and mops... she loves doing it. so thought i would make the most of it Grin only thing she dont do is hoover

Nearly 2 year old ds helps with washing machine, tumble dryer and putting away clothes. Loading/unloading dishwasher, and tidying toys.

Not tried anything else yet but I think he would clean with a wet cloth if I showed him.
