I would give them neutral, and say description was not clear, did not imply dvd was a copy.

waterfalls · 13/10/2006 12:28

but wait til they have left feedback, if they dont, dont leave any feedback for them.

mumfor1standfinaltime · 13/10/2006 12:28

The baby einsteen dvds on ebay are always copies. (the cheap ones without a proper pic, just one copied and pasted from the net).

What is their feedback like?

, the listing is very crafty as it says new, but what they actually mean is, its a new copy, notice the seller has 100 per cent feedback, you might have to put this one down to experience.

fruitful · 13/10/2006 12:44

Forget the feedback, report them to ebay and ask for your money back! It is illegal to sell copied dvds, and against ebay rules to do so.

Doesn't matter whether they said it was a copy or not. They probably didn't say it was a copy, because that is illegal...

no you werent being naive, you should expect a genuine copy, if its a copy then it is illegal, so in theory you should report them to ebay..im amazxed actrually that the seller has 100 per cent feedback.

in addition to reporting them to ebay you could report it to the police, Video/DVD piracy is a crime, its illegal.

MellowMonsta · 13/10/2006 13:15

I recently bought a bed gaurd on ebay. It came and looked like it had never been wiped/cleaned at all. Put it straight in the bucket.

It was first time I left negative feedback but I was just straight to the point and said:

Item took 5 weeks to delivery, when item was delivered it was disgusting dirty.

I would leave a neutral - say something like 'not as described, was actually a copy of original dvd'.
Then report them to ebay for selling item which is not as described and for selling copied discs.

mumfor1standfinaltime · 13/10/2006 17:55

Also look how long they have been selling for - just a few months!!

mumfor1standfinaltime · 13/10/2006 18:07

LOL! All their listings are private on the feedback. These are serious scammers selling copied discs and probably made up feedback as they haven't been trading that long. Would avoid this seller with a barge pole.

Yes. They are serious scammers and need to be stopped. Get refund (or try to!) then report them to ebay and neg them. Ebay only works if people use the feedback system to warn other ebayers of the bad apples.

I would never buy of anyone who hides their feedback.
