I just got flowers

DH took delivery of flowers for next door on Tuesday - no-one came to collect, and no-one was ever in when I tried knocking, so I called the florist yesterday to explain. It turned out that they weren't even for the people who live next door - they were for the family who used to live there. I explained, she said she'd come and take them away.

I muttered to DH about what was she gonna do with 3 day old flowers anyway... she has just turned up, taken those, and given me a bunch to say thankyou for calling her

I got a nice surprise today too, I won a top for DS1 on eBay which was delivered today with another 2 similar tops, inside was a note to say she hadn't sold the other 2 tops so sent them to me for free You don't see generosity like that everyday!!
