hello,
i'm ashamed to be writing this message but here goes anyway. my little girl's grandma has just visited and my little one wouldn't let go when she left and wouldn't come back to me. why?! what's going on?!
sorry, just feeling unwanted by my little one. probably being v stupid.
thanks for any advice.

Oh don't worry about it, children are very fickle indeed, by morning you will probably be her favourite again.

She the sees you all time - Grandma is a novelty. It's the same for me when DH gets in from work. She loves you because you are her Mummy - no one else can do the job as well as you, so don't forget that! XX

Awwww - how old is she? They're outrageously fickle when they're little and I've had many a wobble about my ds1 in particular saying he loves my dp more than me, doesn't want me etc. It's horrible and they're little sods, but then it all changes again before you know it - I'm flavour of the month at the moment!

Grandparents are especially attractive I think to kids because they usually come armed with sweets you wouldn't give them, which they say you can eat just before tea, they don't shout and generally are more fun.

You're not being stupid but try not to let it upset you too much.
