Morning

Well nonny, that was neither calming nor dull. Marvellous!

'silly boy' - I think you've summed it up perfectly there obs. I so wanted to commandeer the web chat & announce 'This is FancyGirl's mum, put your mum on the web chat NOW' Grin Hope all is ok with you & your family today.

sparks should be put in charge of wardrobe for the boys for all promo appearances. That is all.

carolina thanks for the twitter stalking service, fine work! Fingers crossed for some beautiful new pics later. And a trailer BBC - just sayin'

badvochow easy is it to get a GP appointment for DS2? A friend in a similar situation with her DD went the GP who recommended an x-ray (her finger did turn out to be broken). GP appointments for children are usually available round here & a&e is a bit of a shlep, so it made sense in her case. Good luck whatever you decide & hope you enjoy the play.

CarolSinger200 · 10/12/2014 10:22

Quickly dashes back in to answer questions before heading off to Curry's

Not a 50 inch one - already have 40 inch but is too big for the room. Going for a 32 inch.

Australia may or may not have seen a trailer but several tweets say they have seen a preview. Not sure if preview means trailer.

I'm with Obs when it comes to getting pissed off. There are numerous Frenches tweeting about going to Paris to see the cast. I gather it is a TV show tonight and assume is something along the lines of the One Show or GN. Assume they can apply for tickets the same as we can here. However, we can't do that if they're not appearing on any fucking shows here can we!

I think the BBC is concentrating all it's efforts on selling the show abroad and is forgetting that is is the hype from the UK fans on twitter, facebook etc. that probably helped sell the show. If the Brits hadn't tweeted and supported it through the first series and posted pics and reviews then there is a case to suggest the corporation might have had to work even harder themselves to sell it abroad. The Aussies will actually watch the end of S1 and go straight into S2 just two days after we get S2 having waited 11 months. The Americans will only have had to wait six months by the time they see S2 on 17th January. I would bet that SA won't have to wait long after S1 finishes to get S2.

BLAAAHHH!!!!

I am getting pissed off about something else but need to word that rant very carefully and will probably post that later.

So... on that note... puts on fake smile and heads off to the shops Smile

Badvocinapeartree · 10/12/2014 10:35

Yeah...I might try and get him an appt tomorrow if it
Still hurts

FancyFancy · 10/12/2014 10:39

mouse scrote was a much used word by me last night Grin

Do you know which games your tweenage neighbour is into? As my DS has got older (now 14) he's more interested in personalising his room - posters & pictures, novelty lamps (how many does one boy need?), or computer add-ons - lights, additional USB ports. This year he's asked for a Good Game Button, a bit like this one button. There are also several less child friendly ones available! Your neighbours may hate you for it though.

IntheBleakMiladyBeeeWinter · 10/12/2014 10:42

Morning. Bloody French premier

Think this is the Aussie preview clip they are talking about. I think new footage which is a bit cheap:

[[The boys are back. #TheMusketeers return for series two on BBC First from Sunday January 4, express from the UK.
t.co/hnAdClWyoq— BBCFirstAus (@BBCFirstAus) December 9, 2014
Hmmm hope that works]]

IntheBleakMiladyBeeeWinter · 10/12/2014 10:43

Bollocks it didn't. Hold on while I try and find it elsewhere

IntheBleakMiladyBeeeWinter · 10/12/2014 10:46

Try this, takes you via twitter but that's all they seem to have launched it on:

S2 BBCFirstAus Preview

IntheBleakMiladyBeeeWinter · 10/12/2014 10:52

In other news we have the crappy weather already. Yesterday was vile and so is today. 30mph winds and sleet. Meant to snow overnight which means I'll be shovelling before school to get car out. FMW (winter).

Mouse I like Jura at the moment but it does depend on what kind you like? Have got DH a bottle of Dalmore for Christmas and the prices are shocking nowadays.

Afraid I missed the Eurostar Sparks, have a prosecco hangover from partying with Flopsy and Porthos all night.

TheSwedishChristmasMeatball · 10/12/2014 10:56

Hello Smile

Ooooh Nonny

Bads I think about you Wenches too Smile

It's storming here today and I'm freezing Angry

TheSwedishChristmasMeatball · 10/12/2014 11:02

Just talked to my boss who lives waaayyyy up north and they had -20° C yesterday evening Xmas Shock

FancyFancy · 10/12/2014 11:04

Off to post all my cards, am refusing to get distracted by MrsBeee's tantalising links, so will watch later. Have been inspired by talks of 'Christmas audits' (was that sparks or comtess?) so that is my task for the rest of the morning

Forgot to say earlier BrewCakeFlowers for the poorly people & those having crappy days & extra Brew for anyone suffering from awful weather.

NotEvenAnEnormouseStirred · 10/12/2014 11:04

MrsBeeee I think juras my favourite scotch. Elixir and superstition are fairly reasonably priced. I'd love a bottle of prophecy but it's a bit too expensive for me.

I tend to prefer Irish whiskies - bushmills, jamesons etc but Mr Mouse likes Johnnie Walker and Jack Daniels.

Morning ww, any snow yet?

Thanks fancy the tween in question is fairly geeky and likes Lego and Harry potter so I'll find something along those lines.

TheSwedishChristmasMeatball · 10/12/2014 11:36

Nope, no snow Mouse, at least not where I live, but stormy, rainy and grey Xmas Sad

MadamedeChevreuse · 10/12/2014 12:41

So luca is clean shaven, but the others must be beardy again, otherwise maimie wouldnt have said anything!!!!

Hurrayyyyyyyy!!!!

And yes sparks, youve totally nailed luca. So many wenches have such a way with words...

"...some foul Versace-inspired thing that Luca thinks is Italianesque suave"

MadamedeChevreuse · 10/12/2014 12:48

Work is a bastard right now. I hate the pre-xmas panic rush that we always have. Grrrr. So difficult to get anything done cos the office is switching to xmas demob mode. Random tinsel, festive jumpers and mini plastic trees sprouting everywhere.

Xmas party tomorrow night. I have bought a (second) dress from asos which only arrived yesterday and looks to be too big. Havent tried it on yet. Arrrrrrgh.

Grin badders at "warthog". Such little darlings...

comtesse well saved remembering ds concert! Phew. You need to have a rest this xmas and slow down a bit...

fancy that hacking incident sounds horrible, glad you got in there to sort it.

IsawMommyFolknSantaClaus · 10/12/2014 12:58

Hi all hope you're all ok, haven't really read much, hope obs and mrobs and milobs are doing as well as possible

Get well soon all suffering wenches.

Maybe they are waiting until around Christmas time before we get all the interviews etc so they can be near their families and friends around Xmas and new year?
Just a thought.

nonny excellent work as always keep going
ILYA

Am back. New TV ordered - 32" Samsung - being delivered Sunday

At last I will be able to watch TV for more than 40 minutes at a time !

Took some Benilyn Original and am now just about ready to nod off. See you after my nap!

Badvocinapeartree · 10/12/2014 15:07

Oooooh I got a card from Sweden today!

RudolphTheRedNosedElk · 10/12/2014 15:42

Lovely Nonny, very nice

Grin at Badders' Elk history, hope you get your mum sorted....you're one in a million with her, especially as it seems it always seems to be down to you to deal with all the situations that come up.

Excellent rant Carolina

I need to start wrapping

SantisLittleHelper · 10/12/2014 15:52

I'm getting in a right strop here re Paris. I'm going to tweet the BBC. It ain't RIGHT.

But YY Fancy to promo Wardobe Assistant job. I am made for that. I would love to get my hands on them.

So. The thing is at 7. So a while before any pics. This means I have no excuse for not going for a run. Except that's it's frigging freezing & I've just got in from work and I DON'T WANT TO. But errrr...events at the weekend mean my weekend running will be scuppered so I've go to. Gah.

Big warm duvets & hot chocs for all cold or ill wenches. I am literally surrounded at work by people coughing & spluttering & then handling phones etc etc plus sleeping with illing DH- so that means it'll hit me about 7pm on Fri night no doubt Hmm

CarolSinger200 · 10/12/2014 17:04

I am being sparing with these as I only have two pics left off my allowance today hence the links

Also, just search on Twitter with #The Musketeers

Did she leave for her run just as I posted. Ooops. And does she realise that is 7pm CET not GMT?
