I quite like fruit cake but the last time I made a Christmas cake it took me 18 months to eat it. I keep dog food in the tin now, just in case I'm tempted again.

Thanks for all the arch comments everyone. Elk it's from Homebase I ran past a house with one on Thursday & thought it looked fab - googled & theirs was the cheapest by way far!

Dh hates it. Actually, I think he's just saying that to save face now cos it looks fab but he maintained it would look shit from when I showed it to him online. But he can stick to the Christmas dinner & I'll do the rest.

FNWAD I am not exaggerating when I say this is the first sit down I've had since a very rushed lunch. BUT you can get a fuck of a lot done!! We have two trees so both up, all decs done, boys have done lights on trees outside, they've also gone and collected loads of holly and mistletoe so I can make a wreath tomorrow night . Have also written all cards and addressed them and stamped ready for tomorrow (over 100).

So I'm now back on track and can wrap evenings this week. Phew!

I'm ready for rewatch but am just going to rest and enjoy!!
