And ... I have shopped for all three boys for under £100. But to be fair the biggest thing on DS2 list was a globe lamp.

SantisLittleHelper · 06/12/2014 19:43

OMG!!! I have NO idea how you have done that.

FancyFancy · 06/12/2014 20:00

Back from the shops & most jobs done. Not too much moaning from DS as I bribed him with the promise of pick 'n' mix on the way home if he was good. Can't believe that still works on a 14 yo.

Off to eat dinner & get ready for Trailerwatch.

LetUsPrey · 06/12/2014 20:17

Just all the stuff they're showing at Christmas that they've already shown trailers for, plus a couple of films. Marvel's Avengers yes please, but not a Musketeer in sight.

DC are mostly having smaller stuff for Christmas. They tend to get the bigger stuff on their birthdays.

MadamedeChevreuse · 06/12/2014 20:43

Hellooooooooo! How is everywench?

WHERE THE FECK IS THAT TRAILER????

Im right pigged off about that I am.

Got lots of xmas jobs done today so phew. Xmas cards to finish now and tree to buy tomorrow.

I felt fine head wise this morning, which is unusual, so was dead chuffed the botox seemed to be working. But I think one is kicking in now :( however she did say it would take a couple of weeks to take effect. Ah well.

GoodQueenWenchAnneLass · 06/12/2014 20:46

They haven't really asked for anything big Sparks. They would love tablets but we decided to save it for birthdays as only DS1 is ready IMO. So they mostly have books and games but I look for different games to the usual - so DS2 has two sets of playing cards and a book of family games to play with them- under a tenner. I reckon by the time we have the clothes etc and possibly added one extra toy no more than £250 for all 3. They do have birthdays in Jan, Feb and Mar so I have to budget for gifts/ parties etc. straight after Xmas.

In other news, spots have appeared on DS3 and I suspected chicken pox. Text DH who tells me that the teacher at nursery mentioned it was going around. FS

DS1/2 have been playing musketeers and started a rewatch themselves in the run up to Christmas.

Loved Caroline and Pasha. Really really loved.

GoTellItToTheMavis · 06/12/2014 21:08

Presents wrapped, now watching Sherlock. Molly kiss through the window even though I don't get BC.

QueenOfNewYorkLyndie · 06/12/2014 21:19

Hey Madame. great news about the Botox!

I've not written any cards yet in denial

FlopsyTheSnowman · 06/12/2014 21:26
SantisLittleHelper · 06/12/2014 21:27

Madame hope it doesn't develop into a bad one. My extensive Botox research has told me 10 days is when it kicks in but that's for lines Grin so may be slightly different. I still want it!

I have so much to do tomorrow I may not bother going to bed Hmm

I said to DH today, does everybody else actually get a weekend? Cos it just feels like 7 working days a week to me.

QueenOfNewYorkLyndie · 06/12/2014 21:29

OMG my ovaries!! Grin

TheSwedishChristmasMeatball · 06/12/2014 21:32

Death comes to Pemberly looks promising. I really like Anna Maxwell-Martun, she was great in Bleak House Smile

FancyFancy · 06/12/2014 21:35

FancyFancy · 06/12/2014 21:59

I'm watching UCI world track championships. It's all very far removed from hairy bearded men in leather. Not a chest hair in sight. Even Dog more facial hair than this lot!

TheSwedishChristmasMeatball · 06/12/2014 22:03

Flops at first I read "releases CAT thingy" Grin

RudolphTheRedNosedElk · 06/12/2014 22:06

No trailer yet then? Tbh I've not seen any trailers for anything on over Christmas yet....maybe I should turn the telly on once in a while Xmas Hmm

Re. Botox, I imagine it acts in the same way as having it for wrinkles, I.e. Destroys the connection at the motor end plate where the nerve pierces the muscle, therefore the waiting time for it to work will be the same as for dealing with wrinkles.

FancyFancy · 06/12/2014 22:12

Sorry to hear that norah, will it cheer you to see a pic of Porthos getting cross at Aramis trying to make a move on you?

TheSwedishChristmasMeatball · 06/12/2014 22:27

God, this movie is so depressing. I'm off to bed Smile

FlopsyTheSnowman · 06/12/2014 22:28

Oh God fancy, that would be a fab picture if they'd got the right fecking 'you're'. I bloody despise that...how hard is it to check? I totally understand people getting who/whom wrong and tricky things like practise/practice but to/too and there/their/they're drive me nuts.

Rant over.

C'mere gorgeous Porthos, I'll take your mind off it.....

RudolphTheRedNosedElk · 06/12/2014 22:32

With you Flopsy....I'm a grammar pedant too. Drives me mad except when I get it wrong Xmas Hmm

IsawMommyFolknSantaClaus · 06/12/2014 22:34

OoOOOOOOooooooo yes fancy that is lovely and actually really very accurate Xmas Grin

There are four things getting right on my shitter up my nose.

  1. is currently going through a rough patch.
  2. is what I have to do next weekend.
  3. is what I should be doing next weekend.
  4. is a secret but makes me a bit sad.

But here is always fun and frolics so yay for wenches.

AND WHERE THE FUCK IS THAT TAV LIT THEN FUCKERS? (sorry floppers)
She likes it really
Xmas Wink
