comtess my Mum Shouts are accompanied by Mum Stare, both helped by years of dog owning before I had kids! I still cringe at the memory of using the Mum Shout on a panicking friend once . The decorating is not so fancy really - fixing a hole in the wall, making good & refreshing the walls. Hallway, stairs & landings to be done so will be a bit of a pain, especially with 2 cats to keep out of the way.

Badvoc your DS2 sounds sweet! Hope you find a way to make the procedure ok.

sparkle I'm in the SE, west of London. I wouldn't count a day with a 9 mile run in it a day off! Maybe your friend is bad at heights? I was tall as a kid & in my head I still am! I'm about 5'7" & don't think of people as tall until they get over 6'.

letus DS is already getting difficult to buy for & when he does come up with ideas he finds them on US websites with all the accompanying delivery charges & unpredictability.

Hm, industrious decorator is making me feel guilty. I think I'd better go & look busy!

I think I will contact my fab physiotherapist for some advice for my back. It has been acting up at bit recently, probably because of cheap mattress I have a J-Lo butt, which is perfect to put a beer on, because of my curvy spine (have no idea what the medical term is) but it's never been this bad before

Ds2 is a "townsperson" in the school Xmas play. He has already told me all his lines :)
He keeps singing away in a manger so I figure that will feature heavily.
The church nativity is on 18th.
Loads is stuff going on as usual...school Panto trips etc.
Also promised to take the dc to see the new penguins of Madagascar film...no idea when I'm going to fit that in!

I have to say wenches. I think the BBC have really cocked this S2 launch up. There is NO coverage whatsoever in the media. You put it into google & not a thing comes up from yesterday - not a single mention or pic. This must be a big budget thing for them- why would they not spend some money on it to launch it? Imagine what they could have done with a red carpet, fans & some flaming sconces. There would be a big buzz. You know, like in SA & no doubt Paris next week. Why would they not put the effort in here?

Tickets to see U2 next year with my sister are booked. £100 each which is shocking, especially as last two albums are a bit crap. But we have been to see them together on every tour since probably before Mouse and Jess were born the late 1980s. It's a sister thing.

Advent calender was brilliant today Sparks and no way is he 5'7".

Hope heating gets fixed Lyndie it's freezing!

I just saw today that they're releasing the tickets to U2 on monday and this time they're playing in Stockholm at the end of September. Last time I hade to travel to Gothenburg, alone, cause no one of my friends wanted to see them!!?? But back then I was a member of another online forum and met up with some people there instead
