for gawd's sake, it's driving me mad. I attached some photos to an email and it's been in my outbox since yesterday and won't send. Can't delete it without outlook crashing. What do I do?

Thanking you clever people...

Close Outlook.

Click on the green Windows Start button and select 'run'

Type outlook.exe /safe in the box and hit enter.

Outlook should now start in safe mode. Delete the email from your outbox. Close Outlook and then reopen by the normal method.

outlook.exe /safe

Repeating it so that you get it exact, the spacing is important.

when I opened it in safe mode it wasn't my mail box - there were no messages and it said I had to create an account.

Oo err.

Never had that before, just know how to delete jammed emails because I have had that problem myself.

What version of outlook and windows are you using?

KBear · 08/10/2006 19:18

Right, try working through this lot .

If that doesn't work let me know and I will dig deeper.

When I click on the run thing a different version of OE openss - OE 2000. I wish I wasn't computer-dumb!
