DP 40th Birthday ideas needed PLEASE HELP!

It's my DP 4oth birthday on Monday left it late I know. He doesn't want a party and we will have friends over at the weekend, but I would like to send something to his work, a day to remember. Please not a stripagram he would kill me. I would love to hear your ideas please. larsxx

How about sending a big cake - perhaps a local bakery can arrange this quite quickly? This would probably go down well with him and his work colleagues. Can;t think of anything else at this late stage!

How about sending him a bottle of champagne with an invitation to dinner... with you, that evening? And then meet up at a nice restaurant, obviously if you can get babysitter...
