Nope - not mad..I had ds2 in June and I'm broody already despite no sleep and nursing bras... But if I really did get pg I bet I'd feel less enthusiastic!!

juuule · 06/10/2006 22:37

NastyNemo666 · 06/10/2006 22:40

not mad at all..I have a ds who is 3 next week..dd is 9.5mths[dec last yr] and when she was 3mths old I felt very broody so much so that I am now 6mths pg.

Bagpuss30 · 06/10/2006 22:40

Wow juuule .

I felt just like that when dd was born - it never went away and we eventually went on to have ds2 last year .

Gillian76 · 06/10/2006 22:42

No, I think broodiness is a chronic condition!

Beauregard · 06/10/2006 22:44

Is it natures cunning way to keep the human race going or just jumpy hormones?

I'd love another one or more - no family to help out on a regular basis, tired out most days

NastyNemo666 · 07/10/2006 22:21

if its natures way then am going with it...lol I have a friend who was broody but has let the feeling go and according to her broodiness is gone. Although I just cant see myself not being broody. Also have no family to help out and am permanantly shattered but I just love having my children.

FreakyFloss · 07/10/2006 22:22

susiewoos · 07/10/2006 22:23

My DCs are aged 2, 3 & 4 - so yes, broody with babies normal. Am currently gagging for 4th but DH wants to stall until next year.

A friend of mine with 3 boys even managed to get 2 of them in the same school year (they're not twins, that's cheating). Do the math!
