Is it the full moon? Neighbours from hell part 6578

I haven't been on much lately what with starting my OU course, mostly been lurking but as I am not a big contributor anyway that won't matter. I just need to vent...okay so just when I think the police raids on the neighbourhood druggies are as much as we have to suffer the cherry on the cake happened last night.

To explain we live across the road from said druggies who live in a 4-in-a-block with a weird old-man, a normal family and a pregnant ex-druggie. I had a friend visiting last night commiserating because a home swap I had really hoped for had fallen through spectacularly with one of the participants (it was a three-way-swap) turning out to be a complete time-waster and slightly mad. At 11pm there is a knock at the door and pregnant ex-druggie is there in her jammies really upset.

Turns out old weirdo had told her that we have spy cameras all over our house looking at them! Just how warped in the head does someone need to be to tell such a lie? Said old weirdo has had a duvet cover tacked up at his window for the past 4 years which says everything about him really. The poor girl is being driven mad by him constantly banging doors, thumping up to her all hours of the day. When she came over she was obviously on something from the way her eyes were going and her speech was slurred.

I felt heart-sorry for her but just do not want to get involved. DH went over to speak to weirdo and he told dh that we did have cameras all over the house! Sorry, this post is going on a bit but I am really upset at this, have just had the week from hell and am at the end of my tether. Have just had the only chance of getting out of this place snatched from me and now this. I am glad my friend was there to witness it all as it is so unbelievable.

We contacted the housing association this morning but they can't do anything. I feel I have so let my dts down by living here, we don't even own our own house so can't move, we are stuck. I even sent them to school in a different town so they wouldn't have the stigma of coming from this street. The worse thing is the druggies and the weirdo are the only bad part about the street, most of our neighbours are working.

Ever felt like screaming?

{{{{{Hugs}}}} Hon, could you move area totally?? ie if down south, head up north? where are you? will come back to this thread and check on you later, so don't worry if I don't reply tonight!

Thanks Friz, have backed ourselves into a corner as we want to move to a specific town because dts go to school there and are happy there, I don't want to screw them around any more by taking them away from their friends.

Hiya,
Is the house counsel or housing assoc?

Reason why I ask, is we had neighbours from hell living next door to us(they were in association, and we mortgage ours etc), drugs, music all hours of the day and nights etc. We (and a number of other neighbours) complained to everyone, the police (we never "complained" but just let them know) and the housing association (and this was everytime they were abusive towards us, or had music at 4am in the morning). The complaints lasted for a good few months, to one morning, they were evicted.

HTH

Housing association and they have been contacted by quite a few neighbours about the druggies and weirdo but either can't or won't do anything. The police are constantly at both doors yet both druggies and weirdo seem made of teflon as they are never jailed! It is completely exasperating.

TwoIfBySea: no advice whatsoever, but it sounds hellish and I wanted to send my love Hope you find a way out of there or them a way out of there soon.

I sympathise with u ,i dont want my son growing up amongst these trash, cant even go in our own garden and enjoy it due to the loud swearing............people have no consideration sadly !
