Luckily we don't have curtains or carpets so floors are easy to clean! And obviously the older ones don't mess up their beds so all bedding is clean and fresh, which is good.

Also have no real opinion on what to do thread-wise. I don't see why we can't stay here - OTBT isn't searchable, but the threads are still visible to anyone and everyone (if that's the issue?)

Quick question - hands up which wenches found us through an internet search, or through spotting the threads on a trawl of Most Active etc, or through the mn mailshot? Because none of that would have happened if we had been on otbt, so none of you would be here.

If we go to telly addicts for the start of series 2, why be on otbt in the first place?

It seems to me, going to otbt = vote in favour of lockdown - preserving the wenchhood as it is on the given date we move. = ossification and stultification, and eventual death, because without new people we cant regenerate. Seems a high price to pay for privacy, to me. Just make sure youre happy privacy-wise with what you post here? And if you want to be more open, do it in other places?

The trouble with mumsnet is, that the person who starts the thread, owns the thread. So that problem remains.

I agree obs, for me thats a problem going forward. A solution could be that turns are taken to open each thread. A bit like guest presenters on have i got news for you.

I've changed my mind, I used to think OTBT was the way to go but now I think we should stay here, where people can find us, so we can get some new wenches to join us

I suppose it's obvious there is a split between the people who are always looking for new friends and therefore recruiting, and those who are happy with the group as it is.

I'm not always looking for new friends but I think it's good to get some new blood in once in a while.

This is why I'm on the fence. I like new posters etc, but feel a bit odd right now. Which is no one else's problem but my own.

To ask a rhetorical question to all wenches who havent been here from day one (ie possibly most of us now? including myself), what if the group had decided it was happy with the group as it was, before you joined?

Obs, if we go to OTBT, you will lose all the threads - they disappear after 30 days or something. Unless one of us is constantly archiving them, which doesn't seem fair to me as I suspect it will probably fall to one person, unless we have a strict rota for that, which will be a bit of a ball ache.

Well, wherever we end up (& we have to decide in the next 80 posts!) it's def not going to be Malc starting them now. So how about whoever is about at the end of each thread starts a new one? They can say they're going to do it so we don't end up with more than one being started at a time.

To be honest I really don't care where the thread ends up, I don't have the energy to deal with that. For me the joy of wenching has disappeared with Comtess and I have begun to look at people in a different light. Funny how you could be so happy one minute and then all of a sudden everything is a pile of shit. I feel very very sad about all of this! (nothing to do with you Malc)

Actually come to think about it, I don't care either. Like I said elsewhere, I'm only posting occasionally to say hi and catch up with those who are not elsewhere. I think we're more than a thread now. Badders I think the thread and FB have got mixed up a bit. Anyone can be who they want to be in here.

It appears the majority is stay here. I happy to support that and my only suggestion is that we move to Telly Addicts for Season 2 because one thing that is really important to me is these four men and their adventures.
