Armistice day was observed at my work today as strictly as if we were at the Cenotaph in London. Everyone went outside the building. At about quarter to, people fell silent way too early. Being British, we all shut up and stayed shut up for the next 15 minutes instead of the usual two. Meanwhile, a trumpet player came out on a balcony and played the Last Post. Im not joking. Then someone read a poem and a prayer, though I couldnt really hear. Trumpet player played again. Clock chimed. We all went back inside.

It was nice, but my work does crack me up sometimes.

Took babymouse to mum and baby group and Mr M picked up toddlermouse. I'm somewhat pissed off with the preschool staff. They seem to be expecting a lot of him and he is one of the youngest there with communication difficulties.

Mouse I don't live far from Gävle and Uppsala. I lived and worked in Uppsala since cirka 1995 but now I live about 30 min drive from there

I must confess I've never actually been to Gävle But the Christmas goat is well known and it's not up yet.
