Basically my Mother and Father split up when I was about 11 and he re married when I was 16. He had other children with his new wife, 2 girls and a boy.
He had a friend called Dave who was always round our house and after he left was always round at my dads new house. Then he disappeared for a while and wasnt seen. He had been sent to prison for abusing his daughters. My dad didnt believe he was guilty and said it was his ex wife lying and making her girls lie for her. His new wife, my step mom also believed things had been blown out of proportion.
When he got out of prison things went back to how they were before with Dave being at there house alot. He used to stay over and due to lack of room my dad would let him sleep in the girls room with them. Aparntly he would have one of the single beds and the girls would have the other. They must have been about 5 and 7 years old back then. He would take them swimming and babysit for them alot.
A year or so later my sister went to live with them too and was there for about 12 months.
Fast forward to now. He has been accused by my step sister of abusing her. She is about 13 now. But when she told, she wasnt believed by my dad and step dad cause 'his mate would never so that' but now another girl has independantly come forward and accused him too so the police are involved.
I think my dad should be charged with abbetting the pervert. He provided him with a young girl and a safe place to abuse her IMO. He has failed his family and let his daughters down in the worst possible was, as has my step mom. They are scum and dont deserve to have their children with them. I believe that they are due a prison sentance along with the pevert.
