are you sure a 'crash' course is what you really need ?
Actually they do exist, a friend's son went to one oop north somewhere, for a week, test on last day, sorry i don't know the details. He passed and they erckoned it was worth every penny.

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 14:27

hehe... well, at least I know they exsist! (exist?) Do you know the rough price it was?

I think they are usually called intensive courses Loads of local people here

Costs will vary on how much exp you have, but you will be lookign at around £20-5 an hour, so it depends how much you need.

If you have no exp, you will find it very hard to elarn to drive in a day or two! I couldn't have done it, after two hours I was stressed and had enough.

foxtrottingtotransylvania · 03/10/2006 14:34

google intensive driving courses and it throws up loads of websites. THis one has prices here

KellyKrueger1978 · 03/10/2006 14:35

this says over £1k for a novce here

Iklboo · 03/10/2006 14:36

DH is a driving instructor. He won't do intensive courses because - frankly - you can't take it all in. A large proportion of people fail the test at the end. He recommends 2 hour lessons maximum a day or you'll get stressed. Where do you live QS?

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 14:37

goodness! i can drive pretty well... not done manouvers yet. Maybe ill ring round a few thanks!

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 14:38

must be fun learnign where u live - all those bloody roundabouts! I tend to approach them quite fast now and realised I was overdoing it when the kids piped up, mummy is this another fast roundabout, we don't like them!

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 14:44

blooming horrible... was going to take test in Slough as I know the roads better than Reading. Unless I go on one of these special course things.

KellyKrueger1978 · 03/10/2006 14:46

slough I hate slough for driving, they bloody lunatics. You get so many pillocks getting in wrong lanes then swervign across and there always police chases going on.

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 14:50

I know... but I know the roads... Ill pick a quiet (as I can get) test time!

KellyKrueger1978 · 03/10/2006 14:55

QuootieSpookypie · 03/10/2006 14:58
