Israel - message for you

Just wanted to say I am very sorry that you have been personally upset by the other thread. I thought I'd post here rather than prolonging that one.

Mumsnet is mostly not like that, though occasionally a thread does flare up, and - virtual or not - people do get hurt. Sorry you were in the firing line, especially as a newbie. I hope you won't hold it against us, and will carry on posting here.

I am very sorry too. There is history to that particular issue, which is why everything flared up. I am quite sure everyone really, really regrets the fact that you caught the flak. MIxx

I can echo this too, it was so unfortunate for you to get caught up in the crossfire.
I have not been here that long and am ashamed to think that someone new feels this way

Me too, Israel - I read a few things last weekend and got upset by them (not aimed at me personally though) so I appreciate how you feel. I hope you'll carry on posting

.....thank you very much for your posts....I have been watching the tellie and curiosity still got the better of me, so I kept coming back to read.....but I will not post on that subject again...
It has made me feel like I don't have a place here to open up...
Many years have passed where I have had no-one to talk to...and last week I thought how wonderful this site looked...No one will judge me and I can just say what I feel...isolation is a terrible thing!...but I was mistakenly taken to be someone else by the way I write. I will continue to look at this site and maybe if I feel brave enough again, share a few things..( bloody hell...as I'm writing this I'm upset)...I know others will read this and say ..over reaction.....but thats me....I am usually a very strong person...had loads of experience with different things and hope I can share this with everyone...thanks again

Avoid those threads at all costs as they always end up badly and if s/he is asking for advise it's never listened too.

I am very anxious doing this. Please forgive me, I dont wish you hurt , it was no way directed at you personally. It was very very out of character, it was late and I was upset. But this does not excuse my doing it & hurting someone else. I have held out my hand to you now and this is all I can do. You can be open and you can find many friends here, who will hopefully enjoy being with (may be in RL too).

Israel, I saw the other thread and I felt v sorry you got dragged into it. I was really grateful when you posted on my 35 thread and were interested enough to ask me questions etc, I thought you sounded lovely. If I can be of any help with move to Oz let me know (I actually have quite a bit of experience helping people relocate to Oz from my HR experience - Visas, Tax other relo issues, plus my personal experience of moving to Germany might be relevant). I hope to see you posting again soon.

Yes I am an art teacher...first and formost though a textile designer!

I thinks it part of synchroncity , like its meant to be. Have you seen our spsiritual threads discussing this.

I design furniture and interiors. I also do greeting cards & paintings(will trying to start again anywhoo).

Melsy...sorry i keep putting an 'e' in......I use to design woven fabrics for a company....but after a while i hated it....After college, because I travelled alot I found I sort of chanelled my self down a wrong path....it was a job that became very technical and the design side of it became less and less....So I gave it up and travelled abroad where I got into teaching....this was a way that I could combine my creative side and children...I enjoy it very much but miss 'my' time for being creative.
I have read the thread on spirituality....and I do feel that if things are meant to happen then they do.
At this moment in my life I know that there are tremendous coincidenses pushing me in a certain direction...although I had never wanted to follow this path I now feel completely drawn to it...and because I am just going with the flow...it is a very easy path....is this making sense?

Thats good isreal, you are in the right place in your life at the moment. I used to teach children art at a youth group. It is great fun with kids, what age do you teach??

I have taught all ages from 6yrs - 18yrs...I like diferent ages for different things.
Don't be offended but my spirituality, I think, is only personal to me...I'm not sure what guides us through life.(shrugs shoulders)...I think your board about alternative life enhancing items is very interesting....some I may/might even try under the right circumstances....but I think we are what we have been through....in this life.
I am an open person and always like to hear how others deal with their lives....be it through religion,alternatve medicine,therapy,art,spirituality...whatever helps people through this journey of life is interesting but again I say it's personal...well it is to me....Can you see what I am trying to say Melsy...if you could see me you would understand me better... written words were never a strong point with me.
