ellesmum thanks, no we did the last batch of littlewoods, it was strange as we were asked to turn up to do the job without casting, and i know from other people that littlewoods always do a casting 1st unless you have worked with them before so i don't quite know what happened there they asked for 4 models and 3 0ut of the 4 were sent home due to clothes not fitting but fair play they paid up for two hours work, but the money doesn't help a little girls over active mind!!! have fun tomorrow. are you the same ellesmum that is on napm?

ellesmum · 09/10/2006 22:27

that is strange, how can they choose kids with out checking the clothes fit?? yes i am ellesmum from napm, but dont go on there much.

ellesmum · 09/10/2006 22:30

bet u were really peed off, i would be! and then your dd feeling like that because of it, poor girl must be frustrating for you that she dosent understand why, has it made her nervous about doing castings or jobs now?

perfumelady · 09/10/2006 22:49

yes it has, she told me she is never going to do a catalogue shoot again!! she loves doing the childrens magazines she did angelina ballerina and had so much fun having her hair and make up done and for her the best bit was taking the mag into school and showing all her friends, one of her little friends said now your famous can i have your autograph that made her day

mrsratty · 09/10/2006 22:56

perfumelady - That's really frustrating. Do her agency have her up to date measurements and do they realise what age clothes she wears? DD went for a fitting and despite using her because she had the measurements they wanted she had to squeeze in to clothes that were 2-3, she's 5!

mrsratty · 09/10/2006 23:03

Good luck with all jobs/castings comming up.

julie4travel · 10/10/2006 07:44

littlemadam- yes we have been to the office before so thats fine. they will prob call us last as no problem clashing with shoot dates with us as we haven't got any! he he!!!

mrsratty · 10/10/2006 08:26

How did you get to the office julie as you live in the same direction as us?

trace2 · 10/10/2006 09:12

im going to keep all of elle's work in a box aswell, hope it gets filled to the top

trace2 · 10/10/2006 09:19

it will very soon lol, we have bought all the boxs of tomy jacks done they wont fit in box, so they are under his bed, he dont even play with them

julie4travel · 10/10/2006 09:48

mrsratty- i did train into kings x and then hammersmith and city line to westbourne park if i remember rightly. we then walked to the office from there. could have also gone into ladbroke grove aswell. it was quite easy actually just a while on the tube. if you dont get on the hammersmith and city line at kings cross and do the metropolitan or circle instead then you need to change at somewhere like baker street. the office was upstairs in the building so we got the lift up (think it was 2nd floor or something) towards the left when you get out of the lift.

mythumbelinas · 10/10/2006 09:48

ellesmum, hope dd's shoot goes well today
mimi, hope today goes well and ds is feeling a bit better

quad and ellesmum, i saw the article you did for practical parenting. Ahh was hoping to see a pic of you too, Quad, but i've met ellesmum .

2ManyPimms · 10/10/2006 09:52

Ah, yes the B&B model book shoot...can't make it. We are going to have to do the date for the stragglers sometime in November. We love going to the office via the canal! DD and DS LOVE the Spiderman sculpture!

julie4travel · 10/10/2006 09:54

2manypimms- i had to take a picture of my ds clinging to spiderman! he was in his element!!!

trace2 · 10/10/2006 09:56

mythumbelinas · 10/10/2006 09:58

dylansluckymum, my dd is in the mothercare xmas brochure on pg40.
There's another little girl in a red fairy dress, with a white one too. She's also from KL and dd has done a few shoots with her .. she's busy.

trace2 · 10/10/2006 10:02

mythumbelinas is your dd with the pram?

dylansluckymum · 10/10/2006 10:05

mythumbs is she the one with the doll pram? the girl in the fairy dress is on page 44 of mine??

good luck to mimi and riley today! hope he's up to it.

ellesmum best of luck to elle for littlewoods today too.

mythumbelinas · 10/10/2006 10:05

trace2, yes. They wanted to capture a pic of her delicately putting the doll into the pram or taking it out, but she kept shoving it in and pulling it out by it's legs!!

dylansluckymum · 10/10/2006 10:08

oh bit of overlap there! aww she's looks so sweet. i guess looks can be deceiving eh? hee hee i was always really rough with my dolls too. how old is she? her hair is very long!

trace2 · 10/10/2006 10:09

yes i looked for the fairys, ellies mum just sent me it today as my ds is in too, your dd is soooooo sweet

mythumbelinas · 10/10/2006 10:10

ahh thanks dylansluckymum She is very strong minded and also kept pushing the pram around. She's 2.8 years. Her hair has been cut since, but it's still pass shoulder length.

mythumbelinas · 10/10/2006 10:13

thanks trace2 Oh, is your ds the one modelling the Tomy toy? They like that pic a lot don't they?
