hmm i guess they had each agency come together then cause i think they were shooting all day. b&b told me on the phone after that it was day rate... i think it might be a sort of new girl(?) so maybe she was mistaken? she seemed pretty sure though, i didn't even ask she just told me. anyway ds' grandma loves tescos i'm sure she'd be over the moon if they use his pics and she can go in and say that's my grandson!!!

i order groceries online from sains and they always check the date and if it's short life they make a note of it and you can not accept it. it's a really good service although i've ordered the wrong sizes a few times too!!! when i was pregnant they even carried it up 4 flights of stairs for me!

i'll def keep an eye out for that boy, i'm curious now.

mimi - when i was reading cm.net at the weekend lots of mums had applied and been turned down, so they are taking people on at the moment. however the ones who didnt get a no were told they would get back to them with a date for coming to see them. most of them were turned down for living outside london. TBH after the journey from hell yesterday just trying to get across london not sure id do it if i lived any further out. saying that i could have done the same trip today in 15 minutes.

I received an email from them on Wednesday to say they had chosen to sponsor my daughter for the Little Miss British Comp and to contact them asap but as deadline for sponsor money is tomorrow and there telephone number they gave me to ring is unobtainable it is now too late. I wish they would have notified me I could have tried to get sponsorship elsewhere. Quite annoyed as will not be able to enter daughter now and she was really looking forward to it and bought a dress for daughter the day they emailed me.

christabel- i spoke to the gentleman at british isles the other day and he seemed aware of cm net offereing sponsership. give him a call as isabel may have already rang him or emailed him so you maybe fine for your sponsership. he is a nice gentleman. i will be there as my son is in the little comp.

Morning! Just a question to test whether my gut reaction is right. DD is with NC at the moment, B&B are keen to see her. If they like her when they see her I need to decide who to go with (I need to give NC 1 month's notice).

From your recent experiences of jobs & castings, who has seen NC kids around and who has seen B&B? Particularly in the 3-4 age group.

morning housemum, i've seen NC kids at castings, but my dd2 has mainly done jobs with kids from B&B and UA.
The thing i did yesterday, the guy was from NC tho and he really recommended them

Had a really strange dream last night, I was talking to a woman and she said to me you must apply to Urban Angels, but she was quite adamant about it then I woke up

My DD is fine with the agency she is with, but I think I have modelling too much on my brain

housemum the 3-4 year old girls I have seen at jobs/castings are from KL and UA, its up to you if you want to stay with NC, but B & B are a good agency, DD is with them.

DD was with NC for nearly a year, she joined just after she turned 4 and got 2 castings in that time. We then changed to B&B and she has done really well with them.

Is anyones child in the sainsburys christmas gift guide as I picked it up this morning.

Since changing I've never met a child from NC, I spoke to a woman whose daughter had been doing it for 6 years and she said she had never even heard of NC!

housemum i've never met anyone from nc but in our short time of doing this b&b have been pretty amazing for us. i know it's a different age group but i really can't recommend them enough.

what were they wearing/doing so I know which ones to scan. There is a girl in a white and gold dress with a headband on, 2 girls at a doorway, a girl in a red and green dress cuddling 'mum', a boy listening to a discman I'm guessing that some of these might be your kids!

my little girl did a doorway shot and my ds has headphones on

think my dd did a shot in a dress aswell but not sure it was a hot day and i was outside!!
