Help with house move- Anyone.........??????????

We have just got our movingdate and its a weekaway!

What I need help with is who to notify and write to/phone etc.

Has anyone moved recently and do they know a good website where I can get one of those lists to count down and what you should be doing when.

Ive got brain freeze!!

Gas and Electric people, take meter readings on the day before you leave and just as you move in to make sure you don't pay anymore than you should. Get your mail forwarded by Post Office. Insurance firms, car and house obviously. Health do you need to register with a new doctor. Get some We've moved house stickers down to save you writing it down all the time. Credit cards/bank/charge cards. Can't think of many more for now.

We're moving start of November & I'm panicking as I've packed almost nothing DH is so organised. Remember council if you're moving to a new area you'll need to inform current one you're leaving address & new one where you'll be staying. Discovered a good thing the other day to make sure you don't get previous occupiers junk mail register on the MPS site & do it for their details. Schools, employer, dentist, opticians. A lot of things you only do every year or six months get missed. Royal Mail redirection for 12 months is best as you catch eventually. Good luck.
