can't feckin' find feckin' buttermilk anywhere

been looking in supermarkets for about 2 years

found it once in sainsbury's but never again

most frustrating for Irish fiend of a DH who loves making soda bread

moondog · 29/09/2006 18:51

Thanks CD.
Have printed off and stuck in my little black book of receipts.

CountessDracula · 29/09/2006 18:53

waitrose sell it but it is with the cream/yoghurt not the milk

You can just mix some lemon juice with milk apparantly

CountessDracula · 29/09/2006 18:56

My mum makes it with plain yoghurt if she's got no buttermilk.

She reckons it goes off quicker if you use sour milk

CountessDracula · 30/09/2006 18:42
