Having re-read The Half Blood Prince last week, I think he is on the right side, but no-one agrees with me! Anyone else sad enough to have an opinion on this?

no do not disturb is god-means it is open.i would leave the site and enter again-see if it makes any difference.

LittleSarah · 29/09/2006 21:25

Well maybe that is at least one thing we got right!

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 21:44

I know I am going to regret this alexsmum, but I have clicked on the pink rubber, opened the door and now according to your instructions I have to click on the candle, but there is none. What am I doing wrong?

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 21:45

OK may have found candle (top left?) but where is the quill?

OK getting there, got to the key, where the hell is the desk drawer?

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 21:50

Can't believe I am faffing with this! When I click on the key it turns into a pencil or a pen or something but nothing it touches makes anything happen.

MerlinsBeard · 29/09/2006 21:53

missed the grade 1 test and that grade 2 one was HARD! Trying to find the "goodies" i have missed with the aid of mugglenet (ty AM!) can't do the pen an the string tho - grrr

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 21:55

it doesn't turn into a pencil it's a downwards view of a key. you can just see the handle of the drawer poking out.place the key against that.

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 21:56

i tried with the pen on the string for ages and my 6 y/o did it for me inthe end. it's a vertical bolt rather than a horizontal one if that helps.

MerlinsBeard · 29/09/2006 22:02

i can't even get the pen to move!!

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:03

any luck dumbledores girl?

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:03

just click on it once and move it to the piece of paper with the yellow pin

Rosylily · 29/09/2006 22:03

I've just reread book 6 and just discovered this thread and been reading it all evening and neglecting my kids!
I thought Harry was a horcrux too because that would explain V never being able to kill him. I thought it maybe happened accidently (and unknowingly?) when V screwed up killing Harry cuz of mother love thing. Why did he need Harry's blood to rejuvenate? Also Maybe Dumbledore was keeping alot of things from Harry because of the risk of V 'tuning in'? Maybe Harry continues to comunicate with Dumbledore by time travelling when it is safe to reveal more or more pensieve thoughts?
I do wonder if Harry has to die if he is 'part voldemort' V has given strict orders that no deatheaters must kill Harry, more evidence for horcrux theory?
I don't think DD is bad, think he ordered snape to kill him, and I too fancy Alan Rickman. I definately belong on this thread!!!

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 22:06

Alexsmum, no

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 22:07

I just can't make out where the drawer is, but if you move the key outside the cupboard, it disappears so I presume it must be in the cupboard. Getting now.

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:08

he didn't NEED harry's blood to rejuvenate-just wanted it for extra strength. harry is not a horcrux!!!!!!!!!!!

MerlinsBeard · 29/09/2006 22:08

i think its something to do with my browser, i can't pick up the eggs either

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:09

take a look at the desk where all the stuff is.it;s the same desk where the book is etc.
you can just make out the edge of the handle at the front.line the key up with the handle and click.

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:10

i didn't even see any eggs-looked for them but couldn't see them.

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 22:10

Is the handle of the drawer that faint grey half circle? What do you do? drag the key and if it touches the right place, the drawer opens? or do you need to click?

DumbledoresGirl · 29/09/2006 22:11

But how can I click if I am holding down the mouse anyway to drag?

Rosylily · 29/09/2006 22:11

AND Harry tuned into what the snake was doing too, he has to be a horcrux!

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:12

dumbledoresgirl-it's directly below and to the left of the copy of hbp.

alexsmum · 29/09/2006 22:13

YES!!!!!!! it's the half circle that's it!!!!!!
