Man problems, HELP!!!

I've been seeing this fella who works for the same company as me (completely different jobs/areas/buildings). He was all sweet and nice and we were getting on fine. We met up a couple of times and he always smiled when he saw me. He made so much effort for me and I for him. Until the other day where I got the wrong end of the stick of a conversation about him. I asked him if it was true and he said that is wasn't and ended up looking like a right tool when I found out the truth. I apologised and he said that is was ok but now hes gone cold on me. He hasn't texted or called and he didn't even look at me at work.

I thought we were getting on well, is this my fault for being an idiot or his problem. Should I wait and see what happens and just give him space or move on? Im really confused at the minute and don't really know where I stand.

Any advice welcomed.

Hello sounds like a difficult time - early relationships can be frustratingly confusing. It depends what it was you asked him was true ( if it was something which painted him in a bad light then he maybe upset that you could have thought it was true - in which case all you can do is give him time and try to win his trust back ) if it was something inconsequential then I would be inclined to ask him directly what's going on. Not sure this is of any help but Good luck
