I am becoming addicted to MN ever since ST article. I am meant to be preparing essay and presenation for uni but keep popping in to see how people are. ANd thought just to give me an excuse not to do any work I'd start a thread

Well, DD1 is off to Brownie Camp tomorrow morning, so I have ironed and packed her case ready to go

But I desperately need to get to the supermarket to restock freezer after Darling Daughter No 1 left the freezer open last night and I didn't notice until this morning (freezer in utility room, not kitchen) - and I did a Tesco Online order delivered yesterday to avoid dragging 3 kids round the supermarket.

BUT ....can't go anywhere at the moment as I am waiting for the Gas Man to come and fix our heating - supposed to be here at 11am!!! Getting really p*ed off now!

yankiegirl · 08/04/2004 13:46

Should be doing tons of house work before DH and DS get home so can enjoy holiday weekend. Just got back from grocery store and first thing I did before getting the stuff away was check MN! I think I am addicted.

lou33 · 08/04/2004 13:50

It's a slippery slope from now on Yankiegirl

yankiegirl · 08/04/2004 13:51

well my DH can't say anything as he was the one who showed me the article in the ST and encouraged me to sign on!

gothicmama · 08/04/2004 13:53

Should be sending important emails related to autism support group...... and completing quarterly return for soc svs direct payments, its been sitting her all organised in a lovely file for a week!

Slinky · 08/04/2004 17:23

Ggggrrrrr - even more bloody annoyed now!!

Gas Man has still not arrived - due at 11am. I have rung his Emergency Mobile Number - he assures me he hasn't forgotten but he's just really busy!!!

If he had rang me at 11am to say he was too busy and unlikely to fit me in today, then at least it would have given me the opportunity to contact someone else!!!

And now it's 5.20pm on the eve of Bank Holiday weekend - got no chance of getting anyone else - GGRRRR

mummysurfer · 08/04/2004 17:39

Ab-so-lut-ely nothing! This is mummy chill out time. Ds twins are asleep, finally, the pup is sleeping in his crate (and also snoring) Queer Eye is on the TV and I have blueberry muffins calling me from the kitchen.

Poor DH is on late shifts this week (he works at the airport) is it wrong I am enjoying myself so much by doing damn all?

Janh · 08/04/2004 21:10

jac34 · 08/04/2004 21:12
