Does anyone (or their DH) know any thing about Groundworks & how much they cost?

I have some figures I need about holes in the ground, retaining walls and soak aways

Exciting stuff for a Sunday evening.........

But if anyone does know the costs involved in this - I would be most grateful

I need 60m of retaining wall about 2 ft tall (incl foundations) plus XXXX number of soak aways over 180 sqm

I am at a quite detailed stage atm (I am comparing the cost of a hole/retaining wall/soakaways with ramps

So far the ramps are coming up very expensive

Nerves are OK(ish) can't wait for Tuesday to come

Why are the ramps so expensive. All the footings presumably that are needed to secure the concrete in place?

They have to be kitemarked and BS's and that makes them cost out as if made in gold (apparently)

For goodness sakes - what is the world coming too!! And it's now law that these things have to be disabled friendly.
