Can anyone help me with a computer question?!!! Please!!!!

Hi everyne! If there is anyone who can help I would be grateful!
I have been using my husbands pc whilst he is away cos its quicker than my laptop! I need to get rid of the evidence that shows I have been using it!
At the start up menu I have been logging in as him and checking my hotmail account. It now shows '4 unread mail messages' under his name!

When I click on this it shows my hotmail a/c address. How do I get rid of this? There are no unread messages in my hotmail a/c. I have turned the thing off and on many times but it just won't go away!!!
Any help very gratefully received!!!!

Have not a clue, but will he really be bothered about you using his PC?

ah what u need to do is either log on and click not to remember your email addy, or log to emails with a differnt account - should work. DB had the same prob

foxtrot... its only that its a work one and in the past the kids have got on it and mucked things up so he's a bit sensitive about it!
united nations... sorry to sound dim, where do you click not to remember yur email add?

ther's 3 options on the hotmail home page the bottom one is don't remember your email/p.word.

(sorry it says always ask for my email the bottom option hotmail on this screen then log in - hopefully should work.

yes, i can see that would be a problem. I had a teenager here over the summer and after she'd logged on MSN would pop open every time i switched on, what a pain

thanks for that united nations.... my problem is on the start up screen when I turn the pc on! Where he logs in to Windows, under his name, it shows 'unread mail messages'..... and if you click on that it shows they are from my hotmail a/c.

DH says you can do it but he doens't know how althou. he says when u click MSN does it automatically log u in?

helliebean log on to your dh's email address then it will read his email address instead of yours.
