dd is due to go on a Brownies camp in November - it's a 3 day event, what are you meant to do about uniform? She's only just started Brownies and I was only going to buy her one set of uniform - will she be ok to wear other clothes at camp? Can't see her not getting dirty after about 2 hours there...

Don't worry you won't have to buy anything extra. You'll get a list of things to take, like old clothes, wellies etc. Not extra Brownie uniform. They would only wear that if they were perhaps visiting a place of interest or something. Lots of Brownie packs have their own T shirts/sweatshirts with the name of the pack printed on which they wear a lot of the time. They belong to the pack and are used on each pack holiday/camp. The most you might get asked to do would be to wash it afterwards and return it at the next meeting.

Some packs have tons of old fashioned brown leggings and yellow tshirts you can borrow too. We do.

ok, thanks! have just ordered one set of uniform then - £40 - gulp! Looked on ebay but used is barely any cheaper than new.
