i think i might have invented something - i have never seen anything like it anywhere before. have no idea how to go about things like that please advise!!!!!!!!

Could it be something for Lakeland?

I think you need to register it at the patent office, see their website for advice,
then find an investor
then build a prototype
then market it?

I don't know how to patent it ( but I think it has to do with solicitors). If you want to patent it you can't tell anyone though otherwise you will loose the right to patent it though.

Try googling/internet research first to see if there's something similar. Friend of ours (daft as a brush admittedly) got a prototype of something made, set up a company & went to Thailand to source manufacturers for the UK market. I googled & found loads of companies selling exactly the same thing for less than he was planning. Think the patent office site gives you ideas of whats pending & stuff so you can see if someone has had a similar idea.
Is it exciting & will we all be unable to live without it. Good luck with it.
