We've lived in this house for three years, and the bathroom was extended before we moved in.
But, I noticed that a floor board seemed to be dropping in the bathroom, so my dh pulled the lino up, and it is not floorboards that they have put down, but the boards you put in to an attic to simply store things on. There is now a small hole in these boards, where they have started to rot (and obv with our wieght on it). So, should we complain to the company who completed a full survey on the house, or am I right in thinking that they do not pull up carpets etc. Can we claim on our house insurance for a new floor, due to there being a small leak (we think anyway) as the rot must have been caused be something.
