Hi,
I'm thinking of clearing out dh's old suits etc. and might sell them on e bay. Does anyone know of suppliers of bags/boxes I can buy to send them to buyers in? Is there an etiquette on how they're packaged? Any other 'top tips' on ebaying would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dawnx

I put them in a supermarket plastic bag (a nice clean one) and then wrap in a whole section of newspaper (6 sheets) Brown Tape around the parcel and then clear tape over the address label.

Environmentally sound and means I can just charge for the stamps. never had a complaint.

Suits aren't as easy to pack as kid's clothes or casual stuff as they're so structured.
IME the best way to do it is to lay the jacket out flat and fold the arms in, then fold the bottom hem up. Then fold the trousers either in half (or thirds if they're too long) and lay on top.
Slide the whole lot into a plastic bag, then (this is the clever bit) slide in a piece of cardboard the same size as the folded suit underneath. This makes the next step a whole lot easier as you have something firm to wrap rather than a floppy lump.
Tape bag shut and wrap in brown paper.
