Boys day out - any ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas for a day out for dh and ds(9) in Hampshire or nearby? Dd will be elsewhere so they want to do a real boy thing, not something they would usually do with her as well.

Wellington Country Park!! Or lego land! Alice Holt Forest is brilliant too!

Where in Hants? There are some nice minature trains, ds loves the one at Moores Valley (between Ringwood and Bournemouth). There is also one at Exbury Gardens near Portsmouth. Beaulieu is also a favourite - loads of cars, an open topped bus, a mono-rail train etc.

sorry, Exbury is nearer to Southampton

All sorted thanks to the link to Primary Times - thanks Janh. Aldershot military museum to the exploring Space exhibition and then to the ski slope also in Aldershot. I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow!

Wow mumsnet is Fab. Glad I found you!

Hello Kiwisbird didn't find your message until now (working all day) but dh and ds had a good day although the exhibition was very very small (we are spoilt by the giant and fantastic Intech museun near Winchester) The skiing was good, made a change from Southampton ski slope for them.
