Quick query - shopping in Godalming

Will be there for a couple of hours this week and would be grateful if anyone could suggest

1. a nice cafe to breastfeed DD
2. good clothes shops for me and the children
3. a bookshop.

Anything else of interest.

If Godalming doen't have any of the above, is there a nearby town where DH should leave me?

Won't have much time and will have 7 week old with me but am sadly excited about going somewhere new.

I don't know re Goldalming shops but Guildford (5 miles away) is great for shopping and cafes. Gymboree and Gap for the kids - it would be my first choice anytime!! I now live the other side of London so don't get to go anymore.

Guildford it is then as I don't want to go to Waitrose. No thank you.

Have had one of those weekends where I realise I have no clothes apart from horrid maternity ones and DD is still wearing DS's hand me downs. Time for a bit of retail therapy...
