You should be able to buy it new either from the Microsoft site or from a store (either online or brick&mortar). ebay typically has new software also.

If you have children in school (any age) - you should be able to get a student license. Can save yourself a fortune. I think you may have to buy it as a package with powerpoint and stuff though - you would have to check the price of buying it alone.
