thank you for this thread - am about to book my test and figured I would just read the required 3 chapters at Waterstones before the test rather than fork out £10 for the book - but maybe I should rethink this!

btw is the test to acquire British citizenship or a passport? (dh is from NZ and has citizenship)

It's for citizenship. Actually if I pass then I get to apply for citizenship. Then hope that I get it!!
