We go out with couples and alone.

We have found the the couples we out with are usually the school mates but my old mates are the people I go out with alone iykwim.

Not a usual crowd particularly although they often tend to be chorister parents as those are the people we see the most

I'm not fussy - I socialise with whoever wants to be sociable - couples, families, singles, whatever. ( but only if I like tham)

Cod I find that there is often always one in the couple that is nicer than the other. wierd! Especially when one os really nice and they have aplonker for a partner..whyis that?

Went to a party last night, and started talking to a couple we had never met..ABOUT TRACTORS ffs.. I glazed over..then DH started talking about something equally boring....I said..'This story is as boring as the tractor story so I am off' I wonder if they will speak to me again

They are dull, all the men we know are anyway. All my female friends are in their 20's and very chatty, so we like to go and get ratted and dance round our handbags - all my male friends like to play computer, talk computer, and look at cars. I am perhaps one of those childish women you all hate.

after nearly 7 yrs with him i need to get my social life back... its sad how much time and devotion u plow into thwem to have it all dumped on u when they get bored..

can I just say I never imagined Cod could be only 36 .

The couples don't want me around because I'm divorced. The singles my age don't have 5 children. C'est la vie.

Our social life tends to revolve around our lifeguard club and there's always a party or BBQ to go to, so use up babysitting favours to go to those rather than out on our own. When we first got together it was a club joke that you couldn't get a fag paper between us we were so inseparable but nowadays we enter a room and go in opposite directions.

But don't worry Twiglett I definitely can't call my social life sophisticated. It's drunken debauchery most of the time.

Surely people are nt that insecure?? Wouldnt bother me in the slightest.
I expect you must be rather stunning for them to be like that with you!!

I doubt people think xenia is going to seduce anyone - I suspect it has more to do with roundedness of even numbers/couples that a lot of people prefer
