oooo how exciting - when is DC due????

I've got two DS's - 5 (6 next Saturday) and 2 (3 in November).

We'll have to meet in Morrisons for coffee (I'm a tight cow who won't pay much for a coffee - think that place in the Swansgate is a rip off LOL). Think there's only been two other peeople who said they lived in Wellingborough, and they've only posted one on thread each............

Oh..just a small warning...the new petrol station for Morrisons.....DONT put the Ethanol fuel in your car, unless its been converted for it...it will over time do your engine in! There is no warnings on the pump about this!

A meet up for coffee would be nice

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/09/2006 13:26

It's ok I don't drive - DH's department filling up the car and he always buys unleaded (although I'm now insisting he buys from Morrisons to get the "miles" for the shopping vouchers as he uses LOTS of petrol with his job ).

well been to town - not too depressing most of the chavs seemed to be in the pubs watching the football (judging from the noise coming from them LOL).

Bought a lovely bottle of South African wine to share with DH tonight - and a couple of cheap DVD's from Morrisons (2 for £5)

We'll have to arrange to meet-up, do you work???

OP posts:
Divvy · 09/09/2006 18:29

lol at chavs.....I cant wear my Londale jacket I bought from the shop closing down in town...as after I got it....everyone was wearing it!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/09/2006 20:38

well you have to admit, it is rather "chav city" here in Wellingborough......especially at the weekends

OP posts:
Divvy · 09/09/2006 21:47

I tend not to go to town at the weekends, far to busy for my liking!

Do you have much to do with the school choir, as all the schools perform at the Castle around christmas time, for the round table, I have been involved with that, when I used to work at Croyland school a few years ago.

I have had a complete pig of a day today, someone got into our ebay account last night, but ebay swiftly stopped them and froze the account...while we were asleep but its taken me all day to get a new password!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/09/2006 21:53

yes it is busy at the weekends - seems to have got busier since B&Q and Pizza Hut and that opened.......which I suppose isn't really a bad thing - we might actually encourage some decent shops to come to the town centre LOL.

DS1's school doesn't really have a 'choir' as such - just a few of the y2's really that sing at the end of term services.

DS1 went to Croyland Nursery - but hasn't gone to the school. What did you do at the school?? And I take it from the fact you don't go into town at the weekend that you're not working????

I work nights at a Care Home on the corner of Westfield Rd. Only 3 nights a week though some I'm still around the rest of the time.....and I have to around after 3.15 on school days anyhow as DS1 needs picking up LOL.

Sorry to hear about your ebay stuff - sounds like a right bummer!

I was a teaching assistant there, no I dont work now lol

A cinema would be good for the town, as if we needed another pub, although that is one we go to for meals sometimes.

What do we have, a bloomy manky swimming pool, that has the same tiles on the walls when I went there as a kid!

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/09/2006 22:39

A cinema would be good for the town definitely no more pubs though - plenty of those LOL. Where do you go for meals??

I've never been to the swimming pool - even though I live just up the road from there and yes - that means I've never taken them swimming...

OP posts:
Divvy · 09/09/2006 22:42

The cutting room, what used to be our cinema!

It didnt click with me until someone told me why it was calle dthe cutting room, i always thought it a weird name for a pub...but its cos, it was a cimema, and used to cut tapes....

Well the new swimming pool is opening in town early next year..so no excuses not to take them then

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 09/09/2006 22:44

I know where you mean - never been in there - but I don't know many people to go for a drink with - so haven't been to many. It wouldn't have occured to me either why it was called that either .

hiya Divvy - are you still interested in meeting for coffee???

I can't do this week - it's totally manic (worked last night so spent most of today in bed, Tuesday I'm seeing my NVQ assessor and working again, Wednesday most will be spent in bed and I've got the Yr1 parents evening, Thursday I've got toddler group and a meeting in the evening, Friday I've meeting the vicar in the morning to choose the hymns for hte next month, got choir practice in the evening and then I'm working again.....Saturday is DS1's 6th birthday!). Blimey I'm tried just writing it down LOL.

OP posts:
Divvy · 11/09/2006 16:02

lol....and breath!!

next week would be ok

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 11/09/2006 16:13

oken I've taken a deep breath LOL.

OK - best days for me next week are....Monday, Wednesday or Thursday AM.

When's best for you??

OP posts:
Divvy · 11/09/2006 16:15

Monday or Wednesday would be ok

Tawny75 · 11/09/2006 16:20

I am in Bucks, but my OH lives in Earls Barton and we are on the list for a house in the villages around Wellingborough

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 11/09/2006 16:24

do you prefer morning or afternoon. Mornings is better for me for 2 reasons. It would mess up DS2's nap (he still naps in the afternoon...more for me than him - but he doesn't complain LOL) and if I decided I don't want to have a toddler in tow when meeting another 'grown-up' I could leave him at home with DH......but it's up to you I really don't mind either way.

I cant now....sorry...

My bloods have come back as high risk of downs, so having amnio this week/next week?

It seems I have slipped through there net, had bloods done on 31st august, they had the results on 5th sept. and I should have been contacted by there special team by now!

I only found out because I was making an appointment with midwife, and asked what the score had come back as, I thought it was ok, as no one had contacted me...to be told can you wait and see a doctor for us now.

Maybe in a few weeks when things have settled....

HRHQueenOfQuotes · 11/09/2006 21:26

of course no problem. Hope everything is ok
