Hi old time mumsnetters. Big love. I will never forget all your support. Also, congratulations to Justine, Carrie and Rachel for fairing the media storm over the Gina Ford nonsense.

If anyone wants to know more about my experience of this look at his very old thread; Incidentally, te jab has been availailble in the States for a long time.

Bobbins, we have Amyjade on here too, who lost her dd Freya to the same awful illness .
With the news that Prevenar is finally becoming available here, I was thinking of you and the Harvmeister just the other day and wondering how you were. Give us an update when you can, you are much missed XXX

Marina, sweet. So nice to see you're still posting! I'd love to let you know everything is wonderful, but time for that later. (It's not really, but whose life ever is). I still think of him every day. Some days are worse than others, I'd been saving Harvey's child benefit....went to take it out the other day and discovered that Spencer had had the whole lot away whilst we were in the dispute over the house. I thought we needed a death certificate. I've also been made redunant from the beeb...voluntarily, but it's hard, paid him off. Got a little extra for myself and had a long holiday! Now got to get back too work. Repurcissions.

How am I going to get a new job if I can't even spell repercussions???

How is Mumsnet these days?

Huge and busy . Love and knuckles as someone (Hunkermunker or Twiglett!) once said - big fights and lots of support when the chips are down.
Sorry about the beeb and the ever-resourceful lowlife Spencer. Hope you are finally rid of him
Come back and tell us more when you have a chance. Especially about the long holiday!
Am hoping for the luck and happiness you deserve to be just around the corner XXX

bollox....meant to be going out tonight....just gon't feel like it....have read up on Amyjades experience. This vaccine was available years ago....our children suffered because it wasn't available. Harvey's illness started with an ear infection. ....I still miss him every single day. It's funny Marina...you've met me. The other night I had to tell someone that I had been a mother, I thought they knew already. They've known me for over two years!
