Want to do out our living room but have our monstrous computer in the corner, we have no-where else to put it so need to hide it have seen this which would be ideal but its £700 .

Has anyone seen or got anything similar but cheaper

How about a decorative screen? Or did you want to shut it away completely?

JackieNo · 08/09/2006 10:49

Ikea have this or this , also this , but none in dark wood - you could stain the first one maybe?

JackieNo · 08/09/2006 10:50

And the Cotswold Company also do something similar.

mosschops30 · 08/09/2006 10:52

no I want to be able to shut it away, our living room isnt massive so a wall unit that can be closed up is ideal.

Not sure about the Ikea stuff, I have ikea stuff in here now which I hate because its all light and chunky, although the first one isnt to bad, if a big tall (god I am fussy arent i)

i really like the next one but ds thinks its a ridiculous amount of money, my argument is that good furniture will last us a long time, and I will always need the computer

something a bit smaller?

mosschops30 · 08/09/2006 10:57

what colour is that tall one from ikea, i do like it, but would like some next tables to go in the room, so what wood would match it

One in dark wood ? there's also a lighter wood version of the same thing, or this which looks a bit bigger.

Hi just to let you know that John Lewis also stock some quite nice looking ones in beech - saw them in the shop - you could check the website.

Habitat have one, but site impossible to link to - go to the main website and search on Barello - in the products>office>desks section.

JackieNo · 08/09/2006 11:16

Meant to say - not much cheaper than the Next one, though.

mosschops30 · 08/09/2006 11:19

£649 - it says if you scroll down at the right hand side of it. You have expensive tastes.
