ctrl/alt/delete on a MAC? lap top has just frozen

Not sure of the keyboard shortcut, but if your mouse pointer is still working, click on Apple then Force Quit

no my pointer is not working and I annot just shut down either

I'm constantly CTRLALTDELETE-ing the PC

remove the battery

hold down the power button for about 5 seconds, it'll go off

my macmini is a bit flakey TBH - sometimes when I log in the text etc is huge

try alt, apple key and enter - that's the keyboard shortcut for force quit

my mac won't power off if it's in a mood - no matter how long you hold teh button in - unplugging is the only solution

warty - are you sure? its teh escape key on mine not teh enter key
