relocating to Southampton

we have been looking at totton. whats the area like/schools. dd is 8. any other nice areas or areas to stay clear? hubby can commute upto 45 mins. thanks

Southampton traffic can be terrible, so think about the work commute. If your DH is working near the town centre, hospital or airport you should think carefully about area to live. I used to live in Hamble (loved it) - but my commute to the hospital was easily 45 mins each way (only 10 miles!)
