...fit in the boot of a Ford Ka?

I'll be getting one as a courtesy car in a few weeks and my opushchair won't fit in. However, I might be able to borrow a Zapp. Otherwise I'll have to use the sling all the time!

Sorry blonde moment - whats a .......

A Zapp is a poncey pushchair that folds up to the size of a postage stamp. And a Ford Ka is a car the size of a postage stamp...

I know I'll hate it, that's why I plan on borrowing it fre of charge It's for 7-10 days.

I can feel a rant coming on about the inappropriateness of the courtesy Ka because I have to fit 3 children in (2 boosters and a carseat) and it has an active front airbag which can't be turned off. Bah!! Public transport is not an option for the journeys I have to make unfortunately.

when my car went in for repairs (small MPV, 5 adults seats) they sent a nissan micra. fortunatly the front air bag was able to be switched off.

the insurance co was happy to cough up half the cost of a more appropriate hire car but Iwasn't prepared to pay the other half. It's not the size of the Ka really, it's the airbag. You can't turn off the Laguna one either but the seat is much further back.
