I know you can buy an adaptor thing,as my neighbour has been transfering all his videos to dvd,and also you can get them done,i think you might find someone in the yellow pages, who can do it for you,and i dont think its that expensive, goodluck.

A friend of mine found someone on ebay that would do this for you- at a really cheap price. Try searching there maybe.

DH has done it himself from home - he's out at darts at the moment so can't find out til the morning how he does it.

wheresmyfroggy · 04/09/2006 22:05

I could do it at work for you

cornishpasty · 04/09/2006 22:06

You can do it yourself if you have a DVD recorder and it's linked to your video. We have done it - you just have to make sure that your record source is set to the video and not your normal TV input (if that makes sense). You should have instructions with DVD recorder on how to do it if you have one.

Jessops will do it for you here
Although since it is so precious maybe you would not want to entrust it to someone else.

Oooh let froggy do it, YG, he is a pro (in the nicest possible way ) - I'm so glad you do have something to show the girls.

Hope so, YG - if you're sure DD1 won't be on her knees!

Good luck for tomorrow XXX

Can you do this with any dvd recorder does anyone know or does it have to be a certain type? I mean does it have to have a special dv input connection? Only they appear to be dearer if you look in say Argos. Trying to decide whether to buy dvd recorder you see .
