Ant hell!!

please help ladies. We've got ants in our kitchen. Not likes swarms n' swarms of them but you know enough for it to be a problem and one that I wanna sort out now. Any advice on getting rid of the little buggers would be great.

My sympathies ... we're in the same boat. Currently using Nippon liquid in the little ant traps and numbers have dwindled I'm sure, but still seeing the little buggers running about (on about day 11 of the stuff now). There's another thread with loads of advice on there... here

Argggh, I saw a couple today too Joso so I'm in solidarity with you and Georgina. We had loads when we moved into our new house (I came back from visiting a friend the day after we moved and there were swarms - eughhhh ) We've had respite over the winter but seems like the warmer weather's brought them back. My general strategy was attempts at tactical use of nippon coupled with enraged flurries of raid spraying when frustration got too much. This was always followed by worry and guilt that ds was going to be poisoned by the blooming stuff. I'll have to check out the other thread too. My Grandma swears by boiling water but you can't really use that when the things are all over your carpet, stereo, bookshelves .......
