Lowered the spuds into it, but it was obviously overloaded so the oil spilled onto the hob and the whole thing went WHOOOOOOSH

But I remembered the wet tea towel thing however it does actually take more than one tea towel! Kids were a bit traumatised but they'll get over it! By the time dh got back from his bike ride you wouldn't have thought anything had happened! Apart from the smouldering thing in the garden that is!

Oh, did I mention I have a garden?
Well, not technically mine but you know what I mean!

Well it's kinda ours, we're in a rented house north east of Carlisle - cosy little cottage with no central heating! Still, pub's just round the corner and that's all that counts really isn't it?

I think the smoke marks are very decorative, but dh disagrees.

Job's ok, busy and shit pay, but enjoyable so far. Have to pull ds out of nursery now which is a shame, he loves it, but with dh not working it's not affordable.

They have made a serious allegation against him which he will kick off about on Monday - he's v v v angry today! It could jeopardise his working career on diggers, but there is no foundation for the allegations. If they drop it then yes, he can get another job hopefully.
