ok I'm sat here with my digital camera containg lots and lots of holiday pictures - I have a cable which attaches from the camera to the computer. I've figured out which end of the cable goes into the camera - - but on the other end I've got a yellow and a white (so two!) other bits which need to go into the back of the computer.......question is where???

That sounds more like an AV cable to connect to the TV. Have you got a cable with a small squarish connector at one end & a flat USB plug on the other?

What make /model is your camera?

Yep, I've got a thing with yellow and white round plugs that go into the tv. You must have another cable somewhere for the computer.

aha - sorted thanks folks - being blonde - DH had already put the cable in the right bit in the computer - and all I had to do was stick the other end in the camera

But in my defence we have just finished a very long haul (time wise - not so much distance) trip which started yesterday lunchtime.
