I dont know if its just my sainsbury's in Enfield, or, if its all of them. They were selling a water/sand play table for £2.50!!!!

A lovely lady accosted me in the aisles, seeing me with 2 small children, and asked me if I was aware of it and interested, and then went to the trouble of showing me where they were...how lovely was she?!!!!

Thank you mystery lady in green top

I've come across offers like this in sainsbury - in the pass had cot blankets; sheets; quilts and only paid 25% or less of original cost.

shall be off looking for the table tomorrow then

DP went back to our one an hour ago for something (I forgot cat food ), and they had all sold out (sorry Hunker ).

You do realise the table legs are stuffed with smuggled diamonds, and in about 3 hours your house will be trashed by a gang of hoods looking for their booty, that they had trouble moving out of the warehouse they were sharing with a narcotics baron, who was under police surveillance following a tip off from a green grocer in Luton who....NEXT!.....

VeniVidiVickiQV · 01/09/2006 22:04

Where I live, it is likely that the table legs would be stuffed with smuggled Eastern Europeans Illegal Immigrants, not diamonds. Mind you, I suspect the market value is the same.

that just doesn't scan...!

who was emplying a group of illegal immigrants from Poland to make cheap plastic tables and chairs for kids to play on to keep the prices down and allay suspicions, but he wanted a slice of the narcitics trade and he knew a bent copper in the Met, who...NEXT!....

I'm glad they've run out. Was just planning how many buses it takes to get to Enfield from Whetstone (millions!). And I shouldn't complain, as last night dh came home with a good toddler slide out of a skip across the road

hunkermunker · 01/09/2006 22:21

Thanks for trying though - much appreciated! DS1 been playing with sand All Day today. He even tried eating it, he loves it so much...

Apparently "Sand...bleurgh!"

Panman · 01/09/2006 22:43
