Do you ever wish you could be doing something else like this I feel I want to....

Yeah this is top of my 'Have to do before I die !! list. In this case, while I can still hold on !!!

Brrrrr! Bet it's exhilarating though.

I knew the first Englishman ever to compete and complete the race (at least, I think he was the first - he never told me, I recognised him in a newspaper article, and it was a long time ago). One heck of an achievement, one heck of a guy.

There's a brilliant book called "My Lead Dog is a Lesbian" !! (I think!) which is written by someone taking part in that race - it is brilliant - I can't recomend it enough. Can't remember the bloke's name, but I've got the book at home (am at work now) so will have to look later.

It really makes you want to get off the sofa & go and do something different!
