Have never done this but you possibly have to end the item and start again.

Is there less than 24 hours to go?

Fimbo · 25/08/2006 09:02

Could I hijack and ask a question too please?

How do you get rid of something from "waiting for feedback" when the seller is obviously not going to leave you any? I have left feedback for them and have emailed them privately and via ebay to ask them to leave feedback - but no response. I bought the item 2 months ago.

TIA

I doesn't have boxes for you to delete it when you are in "feedback". It just sits at the top of your feedback saying "waiting for feedback". Its annoying I want rid of it!

Fimbo · 25/08/2006 09:11

Ah Rickman, thanks. I wondered if it might disappear after a certain length of time.

Flumpybumpy · 25/08/2006 09:15

Fimbo, when you are in My Ebay look just below the item that says waiting for feedback, there should a little tick box to the left of the description and a button underneath saying 'delete'. Click the tick box of the item you want to remove and click delete. it should disappear.

nicm - the revise your item either go into the actual listing and click on the 'revise your listing' link in the shaded box at the top of the listing or when in My Ebay find the item you are selling and ten click on the little blue down arrow to the right and select 'revise' from the drop down menu.

hi rickman and flumpybumpy. thanks for the replies. i have looked on the revise page again but still can't see it. i have options under pictures and details to, lower reserve price but i can;t see anywhere on the page that gives me the option to lower buy it now price? i have bids on it now but they have not met the reserve price and there is still 3 days to go? am i missing something? sorry it's friday!!

OP posts:
misdee · 25/08/2006 10:13

i dont think you can lower the reserve once it has bids on it.

Flumpybumpy · 25/08/2006 10:14

You can't change a Buy it Now once you have had bids!!!

All you can do is type something at the bottom of the description to say you are willing to accept offers or and new B I N of £*.

When someone then buys the item you can amend the price they need to pay in the invoice you send them to request payment.

Fimbo · 25/08/2006 10:22

Flumpy-there is no box to tick and delete - or maybe I am just being thick.

Flumpybumpy · 25/08/2006 10:27

The tick boxes are in My Ebay not in Feedback.

You should be able to scroll down and see different sections called 'items I am watching' 'Items I am bidding on' and Items I am selling' etc....

Under one of those headings should be the item you are waiting feedback on. On the far left will be a little white box, then the title of the item, then the date bought and amount them five little symbols. These symbols will be coloured in once a task has been completed. If you awaiting feedback then (I think this is right) the speech bubble shape will not be coloured in. If you can find this then you need to click in the little box on the far left and look below to finf the grey delete button.

I hope I have explained this ok.

Fimbo · 25/08/2006 10:31

Ah, I have done that ages ago when I won the item and left the seller feed-back. I don't have any items showing. It just won't go from feedback.

Flumpybumpy · 25/08/2006 10:33

Ah, I'm afraid I can't help you there Fimbo, sorry.

Fimbo · 25/08/2006 10:35

Thanks for your help Flumpy. I think I will try to email the seller again. Cheers

Skribble · 25/08/2006 12:32

I take it you have it as buy it now or best offer!

You might not be able to change it now there are bids, when on the first revise page click on... Revise Your Item: Pictures & Item Details....If its not there then you can't change it.

Best to let it go unsold then contact the highest bidder with a second chance offer, there will be an option for this once the listing has ended.
